Storybooq created an animated video for Hepatitis Australia to support national awareness and education efforts, gently explaining what hepatitis is, who it can affect, and why testing and treatment matter. The aim was to make the topic feel approachable rather than clinical or overwhelming. The project involved research and script development in collaboration with people with lived experience, ensuring the story reflected real voices and realities rather than stereotypes. Their insights shaped the language, scenarios and tone so the video felt authentic, respectful and grounded. The animation used a clean, friendly illustration style and simple, stigma‑free language, with short scenes and on‑screen text that work well on social media and at events. From storyboard to final edit, choices around color, pacing and character design focused on clarity, empathy and giving health workers and community organisations a practical, shareable tool for starting conversations about hepatitis.
